Working on a research paper, with various tabs of potential sources up. Mom asks to use my computer for a stray bill to be paid, and sure, why not? I get (more) time off from the project.
She finishes and says, “I think I only closed the Discover page, but I don’t know…”
Sure enough, my research tabs are gone…
A word of caution to you all: make your parents open a new window when they do something online, especially if they don’t use the same browser as you.
